SF Pride 2024

SF Pride has a series of events scattered across the city starting roughly Thursday, June 27, 2024 and runs through the weekend culimating on Sunday, June 30th. Most of the events are not puppy-focused but you'll likely encounter puppies at the event noted below.

Thursday - June 27, 2024

Chonies

9pm - 2am

Chonies is a recurring underwear party at Powerhouse typically every Thursday. Cover is usually $5 to $10 but may be higher for Pride. Not explicitly puppy-focused but there are often puppies in attendance.

Friday - June 28, 2024

Trans March

11am - 5pm

The Trans March starts near Dolores park and works it's way through the Castro. Not explicitly puppy focused but all are welcome. There isn't a lot of official information I've been able to find that specifcally describes the route and how to participate. I'll add more information as it becomes available.

Saturday - June 29, 2024

SF Pride Celebration @ City Hall

Noon - 5pm

Various stages, vendors, food, and activity spaces line the blocks around SF City Hall. Saturday's celebration is smaller and often more lightly attended than Sunday. The event is free but has a suggested doation at the entrance gate. The celebration is broken out into stages and areas each with a different community focus and a main stage right in front of City Hall. The only kink/fetish focused area at the celebration is Leather Alley.

Pride Jockstrap Party 2024

Noon - 6pm

Mr. S Leather closes the alley behind the store to create a beer garden with clothes check and DJs. Come browse the merchandise, pick up that new hood or tail in as much or little gear as you like. This event is 21+ for the beer garden.

Pride on the Plaza

Noon - 7pm

The SF Eagle will close off the street in front of the bar and host a celebration on their plaza featuring vendors, music, and beverages. No cover for the event but lines for drinks and bathrooms are often long so plan ahead. There are often puppies but not a puppy focused event.

Sunday - June 30, 2024

SF Pride Parade

10:30am - 3pm

San Francisco's pride parade runs along Market Street from Beale street to Hyde street. Line up anywhere on Market street along the parade route for decent parade viewing. There's also a grandstand/reserved seating/viewing area at Civic Center plaza. The parade is long and runs for serval hours and feeds right into the SF Pride Celebration space.
